COVID-19 Precautions at Flex Physiotherapy

Time of writing 7 July 2020

The health and well-being of our patients is always our first priority at Flex Physiotherapy.

Along with the rest of Western Australia, we are currently enjoying a Covid-free community. This means we are able to offer our full range of services face-to-face for clients who are able to attend our Murdoch clinic.  We now also offer our expert physiotherapy service by video link directly to your home. Our team have become experienced Tele-physiotherapy providers, and have successfully helped patients with problems including:

  • back pain
  • elbow pain
  • post-op rehabilitation
  • knee arthritis
  • home strengthening programs
  • and more...

For those patients attending our Murdoch rooms, we continue to be vigilant to ensure we minimise any chances of transmitting Covid-19 in our clinic. Surfaces throughout our rooms are regularly disinfected, and we encourage the use of hand sanitiser which is readily available.

We will continue to follow the guidelines provided by the WHO and Australian health agencies to minimise the spread of the coronavirus in Perth.

When to cancel your appointment

Please call and postpone your appointment if you:

  • Have returned from overseas in the last 14 days;
  • Have been in contact with someone who is a confirmed case of Coronavirus COVID-19;
  • Or have a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, difficulty breathing, fatigue, or any cold/flu like symptoms.

Where to next?

Flex Physiotherapy will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, and we will notify our patients immediately if the official advice changes significantly. We are keen to continue to provide the highest quality of physiotherapy care for our patients, including the use of video consultations – also known as Telehealth Consultations.
